SKI TECHNICIAN - RENTAL & SALES
About The Position
Gorsuch is seeking Ski Rental Technicians for its Aspen Ski Cafe store at the base of Aspen Mountain. The Ski Technician helps provide excellent customer service by helping guests choose suitable ski and snowboard equipment and fitting it so they can enjoy their day on the mountain. This role is part of a team of retail and ski technician professionals and may offer opportunities to grow into positions such as Store Management or Merchandising. The position offers hourly compensation anticipated to range from $22 to $28, with the actual rate varying according to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Available schedules include split shifts and day shifts, with listed options including 8 a.m.–11 a.m. and 3 p.m.–7 p.m. or 8 p.m.; 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; and 10 a.m.–7 p.m. or 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Shifts are eight hours per day, including breaks. The store is open daily, including holidays and weekends when the ski area is open. Benefits depend on the position’s employment arrangement. Requirements
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Previous ski shop experience.
- High level of snowsports industry product knowledge.
- Experience with POS and rental reservations software.
Responsibilities
- Engage and connect with customers by providing excellent service.
- Recommend, select, and help customers locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
- Help guests choose appropriate ski or snowboard equipment and fit them accordingly.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales, merchandise, payment and exchange policies, and security practices.
- Maintain shopkeeping standards established by management.
- Follow health and safety procedures.
- Work as part of a team and help other departments when needed.
