About The Position

The Ski & Snow Hill Attendant supports daily winter operations at the Buckskin Hills Ski and Snowtubing Hill through routine physical labor, guest assistance, and facility maintenance. The role includes safely loading and unloading guests at the tubing tow rope, setting up and dismantling perimeter fencing, assisting with snowmaking, and keeping parking lots, walkways, and buildings clean and accessible. The attendant safely operates and maintains hand tools and powered equipment, including snow guns, air compressors, chainsaws, and shovels. They follow safety protocols, help train peers in best practices, provide welcoming customer service, help create a safe environment for visitors, perform light administrative duties such as answering phones and collecting fees, and complete related operational tasks as needed. This is a seasonal opportunity paying $16.00 per hour. The team is described as supportive and collaborative, with a focus on workplace safety, community fun, and providing visitors with an exceptional winter experience.

Requirements

At least one year of general work experience, or an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience.
Sufficient education and training to demonstrate the aptitude and ability to perform the required duties.
Ability to strictly comply with applicable County, departmental, and safety policies.

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload guests at the tubing tow rope.
Set up and dismantle perimeter fencing.
Assist with snowmaking operations.
