About The Position
Leadpoint Business Services is seeking an onsite manager for its Clifton Park, NY location to supervise production and line workers. The role implements workforce management programs and is accountable for the performance of Leadpoint’s team at the assigned facility. The manager oversees program implementation, personnel management, and facility operations, and serves as a liaison between the facility and Leadpoint support personnel. Additional work includes customer service and communication throughout the facility; hiring and recruiting production employees; HR, administrative, and payroll tasks; troubleshooting and resolving performance issues; tracking and reporting individual KPIs; and managing safety programs. The position supervises direct reports and requires experience in light manufacturing. This is a safety-sensitive position; the posting states that the company will test for THC.
Requirements
- High school diploma or technical diploma.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate with employees, department managers, and senior management.
- Leadership skills to motivate employees and keep operations running smoothly.
- Problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess situations and make timely decisions.
- Time-management skills to manage production deadlines and shipping dates.
- Direct experience or transferable skills related to a high-stress production environment.
- Mechanical and process capabilities associated with large-scale production equipment.
- Ability to adapt to a learning-based organization, with a focus on adoption, information processing, and accountability for skills transfer.
- Experience in light manufacturing.
