About The Position

Bubble Down Car Wash is seeking an experienced, hands-on Site Manager to lead operations, develop people, and deliver results at one of their high-volume locations. This is a true business leadership position responsible for every aspect of the site's success: people, performance, and profitability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate maturity, accountability, and pride of ownership, leading from the front and setting a standard for excellence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience in a car wash, service, or retail environment.
  • Proven ability to hire, train, and lead successful teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing entry-level/hourly employees while minimizing turnover.
  • Experience managing financial performance or operational KPIs.
  • Hands-on leadership style—comfortable working outdoors and leading by example.
  • Professional communication, organizational discipline, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to schedule, standards, and accountability.
  • Experience leading teams of 10+ employees.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with tunnel wash systems or other high-volume service operations.
  • Background in developing training programs or structured coaching systems.
  • Comfortable with tools like Excel, POS systems, and cloud-based reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performance team of 12-20 employees, including recruitment, hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Build bench strength and ensure full coverage for all positions.
  • Conduct structured training and monthly performance reviews.
  • Hold team members accountable to company standards and recognize great work.
  • Foster a positive, professional culture that drives engagement and retention.
  • Oversee daily site performance, safety, and equipment readiness.
  • Ensure consistent execution of wash quality, site appearance, and member experience.
  • Proactively address issues before they become problems.
  • Manage inventory, vendor relations, and site maintenance.
  • Drive membership growth and motivate the team to meet sales goals.
  • Manage P&L performance, controlling labor and operating expenses.
  • Submit accurate daily and weekly reporting with thoughtful analysis.
  • Identify and act on trends in performance, customer feedback, and profitability.
