About The Position

The YMCA is seeking an energetic, dependable, and caring Site Director to lead its Kids Club after-school program and create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for school-age children. The Site Director supervises staff, oversees daily program operations, builds positive relationships with families, and ensures children participate in enriching activities such as STEM, arts and crafts, literacy, sports, and social-emotional learning. The role also involves mentoring staff and supporting child development.

This is a part-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

• College coursework in education, recreation, or a related field.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an after-school setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Kids Club after-school program and create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for school-age children.
• Supervise and mentor staff.
• Oversee daily program operations.
• Build positive relationships with families.
• Ensure children enjoy enriching activities, including STEM, arts and crafts, literacy, sports, and social-emotional learning.
• Support child development.
