About The Position

The YMCA is seeking a part-time Site Director to lead its Kids Club after-school program for school-age children. The Site Director creates a safe, fun, and engaging environment and oversees daily program operations, staff, and enriching activities. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at 100 Fanny Road in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey.

Requirements

• College coursework in education, recreation, or a related field.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an after-school setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Kids Club program and oversee its daily operations.
• Supervise and mentor staff.
• Build positive relationships with families.
• Ensure children participate in enriching activities, including STEM, arts and crafts, literacy, sports, and social-emotional learning.
• Create a safe, fun, and engaging environment that supports child development.
