About The Position

The Site Checker, Community Corrections is responsible for ensuring resident accountability through timely on-site checks for designated populations. The role performs initial on-site checks, schedules appointments with employers to complete employment verifications, and conducts random breathalyzer tests in the field. The Site Checker also completes resident/inmate discipline reports for detected facility or program violations.

The position requires efficient use of company resources and time management, compliance with safety and traffic laws when using a company vehicle, and supervision of residents as assigned, including attention to safety, security, and facility sanitation. The employee logs the checkout of equipment, keys, and other designated items in accordance with policy and procedure.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent.
• Ability to complete pre-service and other required training programs.
• Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing.
• Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to complex issues.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-site checks for designated populations in a timely manner and use company resources efficiently.
• Perform initial on-site checks.
• Schedule appointments with employers to complete employment verifications.
• Perform random breathalyzer tests in the field.
• Complete resident/inmate discipline reports promptly for facility or program violations.
• Use a company vehicle in compliance with safety and traffic laws, as well as company rules and regulations.
• Report traffic violations and complete accident investigation reports when involved in traffic incidents.
• Supervise residents as assigned, including safety, security, and facility sanitation.
• Log the checkout of equipment, keys, and other designated items in accordance with policy and procedure.

Benefits

• Medical benefits are included with the $19.08 wage option; this option also includes PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k).
• The $22.68 wage option does not include medical benefits but includes PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k).
