About The Position

CoreCivic is seeking a Site Checker, Community Corrections, to help provide high-quality care in a residential setting. The role supports resident accountability by completing timely on-site checks for designated populations, arranging appointments with employers to verify employment, and conducting random breathalyzer tests in the field. The Site Checker also prepares discipline reports for detected facility or program violations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent.
• Ability to complete pre-service and other required training programs.
• Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing and apply problem-solving techniques to complex issues.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-site checks in a timely manner, using company resources efficiently and managing time effectively.
• Schedule appointments with employers to complete employment verifications.
• Perform random breathalyzer tests in the field.
• Complete resident discipline reports promptly for program or facility violations.
• Use a company vehicle in accordance with safety and traffic laws and company rules; report traffic violations and complete accident investigation reports when involved in traffic incidents.
• Supervise residents as assigned, including supporting safety, security, and facility sanitation.
• Log the checkout of equipment, keys, and other designated items according to policy and procedure.

Benefits

• Medical benefits are available with the $19.08 wage option; this option includes PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k).
• The $22.68 wage option does not include medical benefits but includes PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k).
