About The Position

At Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler, our service team plays a vital role in creating thoughtful, memorable guest experiences. Sidecut Restaurant is only open in the evenings for dinner. As a Full Time Server Assistant, you support servers in the set up and execution of exceptional service within a collaborative environment that values precision, consistency and care. This role is suitable to someone who performs well in a fast-pace setting and is motivated to continue developing their skills within a luxury hospitality environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food and beverage, in a restaurant or hotel
• Solid knowledge of food and beverage products
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
• An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task
• Strong command of the English language.
• Must be able to obtain a Serving It Right certificate.
• Valid work authorization for Canada

Responsibilities

• Ensure a seamless dining experience for guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Support the Server by delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, clearing tables, and resetting.
• Serve and clear all food & beverage items.
• Complete opening and closing side-work as assigned.
• Set all tables according to standards.
• Have a thorough understanding of the menu and describe food items to guests.
• Monitor overall restaurant cleanliness.
