About The Position

About the role At Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler, our service team plays a vital role in creating thoughtful, memorable guest experiences. As a Full Time Steward, you’ll support the washing of dishes and glass wear within a collaborative kitchen environment that values consistency and care. This role is suitable to someone who takes pride in their craft, performs well in a fast-paced setting, and is motivated to continue developing their skills within a luxury hospitality environment. You’ll be part of a team that balances high service volume with a strong commitment to quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • The Ability to pushing, pulling, and lifting objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Understanding of kitchen safety, hygiene and quality standards
  • Demonstrates the ability to quickly and positively establish rapport with a positive outlook.
  • Valid work authorization for Canada

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using a dish machine
  • Maintain the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary and food and beverage facilities
  • Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
  • Maintain the silver polishing program
  • Utilize and handle cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe manner
