Shuttle Driver - Honda of Serramonte
About The Position
Honda of Serramonte, part of the Sonic Automotive family, is hiring a reliable, customer-focused Shuttle Driver. The role provides safe, dependable transportation for customers to and from the dealership while their vehicles are being serviced. The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, and committed to an excellent customer experience. The position is full-time, with availability required Monday through Saturday and Sundays off. Compensation is $21.00 per hour. The role includes coordinating rides with the service department and may involve assisting with other dealership duties as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional, courteous, and dependable demeanor.
- Strong time management and punctuality.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Ability to safely assist customers entering and exiting vehicles, as needed.
- Flexibility to support dealership operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening.
- Availability Monday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport customers to and from the dealership and designated destinations.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during each interaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable shuttle vehicle.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow traffic laws, safety procedures, and dealership driving policies.
- Coordinate customer pickups and drop-offs with the service department.
- Assist with other dealership duties as needed.
- Safely assist customers entering and exiting vehicles when needed.
