About The Position

The Service Porter supports Honda of Serramonte’s Service Department by safely moving, maintaining, and preparing vehicles while providing customer service. The role helps keep the service environment organized, safe, and efficient and contributes to a positive customer experience. Compensation is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening.

Previous automotive dealership, valet, porter, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and direct vehicles to designated service areas.
Safely transport customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service drive, parking lot, and dealership property.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of service lanes, parking areas, customer waiting areas, and dealership grounds.
Assist service advisors and technicians by locating, staging, and delivering vehicles as needed.
Prepare vehicles for customers by washing, vacuuming, fueling, and inspecting them.
Monitor lot organization and park vehicles in designated locations to support operational efficiency.
Follow dealership safety policies and procedures while providing professional, courteous customer service.
