About The Position

At Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC), the Shuttle Bus Driver provides safe, reliable, and friendly transportation to help residents stay active and maintain their independence. The driver supports transportation to daily appointments, activities, and community outings, helping ensure each trip is smooth and enjoyable. The role also supports the community team with small maintenance or custodial tasks during downtime.

Requirements

Must be at least 25 years of age.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to safely drive the community shuttle bus.
Ability to work a part-time schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with flexible availability to meet residents' needs.
Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm and helpful in a busy environment.
Solid knowledge of the local area to plan efficient routes.
Ability to use navigation tools, including electronic and paper maps.

Responsibilities

Provide dependable transportation that helps residents stay active, engaged, and independent.
Safely operate the wheelchair lift and secure wheelchairs to assist residents with mobility needs.
Manage transportation requests and reduce wait times to keep rides running on time.
Maintain a safe, well-kept shuttle bus through routine cleaning and scheduled inspections.
Take on small maintenance or custodial tasks during downtime to help keep the community running smoothly.
