About The Position

Sonesta International Hotels is hiring a Shuttle Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable, and welcoming transportation for hotel guests. The driver transports guests to and from airports, local attractions, corporate offices, event venues, and other designated destinations, while delivering attentive hospitality throughout the journey. The role also involves assisting with luggage, sharing local information, maintaining shuttle vehicles, and coordinating with hotel teams to support smooth guest arrivals, departures, and special events.

The driver is expected to follow traffic laws, safety procedures, hotel standards, and transportation guidelines. This position requires a dependable, guest-focused approach and flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and airport shuttle support as needed. The anticipated base pay range is $24.13–$26.25; the offered rate may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate hotel shuttle vans and transportation vehicles in accordance with company and legal safety standards.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills, with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Dependable, positive, service-focused, and team-oriented mindset.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and airport shuttle support as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous driving, transportation, hospitality, shuttle, valet, guest service, or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of local roads, airports, transportation routes, and hospitality service standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, friendly, and professional transportation to and from airports, local attractions, corporate offices, event venues, and designated destinations.
• Welcome guests and assist with luggage handling, loading, unloading, and transportation support during arrivals and departures.
• Maintain knowledge of local roads, airports, transportation routes, traffic patterns, and nearby attractions.
• Keep shuttle vehicles clean, organized, fueled, and ready for guests throughout shifts.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns, safety issues, and operational needs to leadership.
• Coordinate with Front Desk, Bell Services, Concierge, Security, and hotel leadership to support guest transportation.
• Provide directions, hotel information, local recommendations, and general hospitality support to guests as needed.
• Maintain accurate transportation logs, operational records, and shuttle schedules according to hotel procedures.
• Follow traffic laws, safety procedures, hotel operational standards, and transportation guidelines.
• Support transportation for group arrivals, VIP guests, conferences, weddings, and special events as needed.
• Help foster a welcoming, energetic, guest-focused atmosphere aligned with Sonesta’s People People philosophy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
