Shuttle Bus Driver
About The Position
Anderson University’s Transit Department is hiring a part-time Shuttle Driver to provide transportation for students, faculty, and staff around the University campus. The role operates a small shuttle bus or shuttle van, follows established transportation routes, and provides specialized transportation for special events, which may take place in the evenings and on weekends. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as directed. Anderson University is affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention and seeks candidates with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to integrating faith and learning.
Requirements
- Hold a South Carolina Driver’s License.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Operate a small shuttle bus or shuttle van around the University campus.
- Transport students, faculty, and staff as they move about campus.
- Follow established transportation routes.
- Provide specialized transportation services for special events, including events that may occur in the evenings and on weekends.
- Perform additional responsibilities as directed.
