About The Position

Hudson’s Furniture is hiring a part-time Showroom Setup & Maintenance Associate. This physically demanding, hands-on role supports furniture displays and helps maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming showroom for customers and team members. The associate works closely with store leadership and may be asked to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support store operations.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Visual Merchandiser or Store Manager with setting up furniture displays and maintaining the showroom’s appearance.
• Move and arrange furniture throughout the showroom and warehouse.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and loading and unloading trucks.
• Perform floor moves of existing furniture and place new furniture.
• Aim showroom lighting and replace bulbs as needed.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum showroom floors.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, break areas, and common spaces.
• Wash windows and glass surfaces.
• Dust furniture and décor displays.
• Remove trash and break down cardboard from deliveries.
• Help keep the stockroom and showroom clean, organized, and safe.
