Shower Installer - W2, Full Time
About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a Shower & Bath Installer to perform safe and effective bathroom installations in customers’ homes, following company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing a 5-star customer experience. The role is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6:30 AM start. The installer reports to the warehouse to load materials and trucks, then travels to customer homes to remove existing bath or shower fixtures and install a new tub or shower pan and wall surround. Plumbing may also be updated as needed. Installers clean the work area thoroughly, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. The approximate pay is $17–$20 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and job location. The company provides paid training and opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing bath or shower fixtures and install a new tub or shower pan and wall surround.
- Update plumbing when needed.
- Clean the work area thoroughly and take care to protect the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols.
