About The Position

West Shore Home is hiring a Flooring Installer to assist with safe and effective flooring installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols. The role includes providing customers with a five-star experience throughout the installation process. The position is based in Baltimore, Maryland, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 6:30 AM start time. Installers report to the warehouse to load materials and trucks, travel to customers’ homes, remove existing flooring, install replacement flooring and trim, clean the work area, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. Approximate pay is $18–$24 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors such as background, skills, abilities, and location.

Requirements

• Experience installing windows or doors, or experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction; alternatively, a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Demolish and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing customers with a five-star experience.
