Flooring Installer - W2, Full Time!
About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a Flooring Installer to help perform safe and effective flooring installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols, while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role involves preparing materials and trucks at the warehouse, traveling to customers’ homes, removing existing flooring, installing replacement floors, replacing trim, cleaning the work area, collecting paperwork and payment, and returning to the warehouse. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 6:30 AM start time. The approximate pay range is $17–$21 per hour; final compensation may vary based on background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and job location. West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels, operating in more than 40 locations with over 3,000 employees.
Requirements
- Experience installing windows or doors, or experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction; alternatively, a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment screening process, including a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Demonstrate and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and PPE protocols while performing installations safely and effectively.
- Provide customers with a 5-star experience.
