About The Position
West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels. The Flooring Installer assists with safe, effective flooring installations while following company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols and providing customers with a 5-star experience. The position is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and works Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 AM. Installers arrive at the warehouse to load materials and trucks, travel to customer homes, remove existing flooring, install replacement floors and trim, clean the work area, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse. The approximate pay is $21.50 per hour; final compensation may vary based on qualifications and location. The company provides training and benefits. Employees are subject to pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
Requirements
- Experience installing windows or doors, or experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction; applicants may also be willing to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Demonstrate and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while performing safe and effective installations.
- Provide customers with a 5-star experience.
