About The Position

The Flooring Installer assists with safe and effective flooring installations by following company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role is based in Baltimore, Maryland, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6:30 AM start. Installers report to the warehouse to load materials and trucks, travel to customers’ homes, remove existing flooring, install replacement flooring and trim, clean the work area, collect paperwork and payment, and return to the warehouse.

Requirements

Experience installing windows or doors, or experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction; alternatively, a willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
Demonstrate and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim.
Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols.
