About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a Flooring Installer to perform safe, effective flooring installations in customers’ homes in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols. The installer is expected to provide customers with a 5-star experience throughout the job. The position is based in Richmond, Virginia, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 6:30 AM start time. The installer reports to the warehouse at the start of the day to load materials and trucks, then travels to customer homes and returns to the warehouse after completing the work.
Requirements
- Experience installing windows or doors, carpentry, remodeling, or construction, or willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing flooring and install replacement floors.
- Replace trim as needed.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while completing installations safely and effectively.
- Provide customers with a 5-star experience.
