About The Position
West Shore Home is seeking a full-time installer to perform residential installation work in Hartford, Connecticut. The Installer helps complete safe, effective installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing customers with a five-star experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 6:30 a.m. start time. The listed duties include loading materials and trucks at the warehouse, traveling to customers’ homes, completing installation and trim work, cleaning the work area, collecting paperwork and payment, and returning to the warehouse. The approximate hourly pay range is $21–$24; final compensation may vary based on factors such as background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 a.m. to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing window and door spaces, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care to protect the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while carrying out installations.
