About The Position

Museum of Ice Cream is hiring a seasonal, weekend-only Show Ambassador to create memorable guest experiences in a high-energy, interactive environment. The role combines dynamic performances and playful guest engagement with support for retail sales, bar and buffet operations, ticketing, special events, and VIP experiences. Show Ambassadors use scripted guides as well as spontaneous performances to bring exhibits to life, provide positive guest support, and work with the Service and Show Teams to deliver a cohesive experience. Team members are cross-trained to help deliver ice cream and treats, maintain the museum, and assist with setup and cleanup. The role is suited to someone with customer service experience or transferable skills from hospitality, retail, entertainment, or other experiential industries who is willing to learn and grow with a creative, performative team. The position pays $18.00 per hour. Consistent availability for an eight-hour shift on at least two of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is required. The role involves standing and walking for extended periods, up to eight hours, and bending and lifting objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Use scripted guides and spontaneous performances to bring exhibits to life and create memorable guest experiences.
Support sales in the retail shop, bar and/or buffet, and ticketing.
Help the Service Team deliver ice cream and other treats to guests efficiently.
Provide positive, timely guest support throughout the museum experience and retail shop.
Assist with performances and setup for special events and VIP guests.
Collaborate with Service and Show Teams to create a cohesive guest experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the museum, including setup and cleanup.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
