Seasonal Show Ambassador
About The Position
Museum of Ice Cream is an inclusive, immersive brand that uses creativity and imagination to create memorable guest experiences. A Show Ambassador works in a high-energy, interactive environment, engaging diverse audiences through performances, meaningful interactions, and playful activities. The role supports retail sales, bar and buffet operations, ticketing, special events, and VIP experiences while reflecting the company’s culture and values. Ambassadors collaborate with Service and Show Teams, help deliver treats, provide hospitality, and maintain a clean and welcoming museum. Customer service experience or transferable skills from hospitality, retail, entertainment, or other experiential industries are useful, and the role offers opportunities to learn and grow.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift on at least two of the following days consistently: Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
- English proficiency for effective communication in the role.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
- Teamwork skills and ability to function effectively in a high-energy environment.
- Ability to bend and lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in performance, acting, or entertainment, ideally in a guest-facing or interactive environment.
- Entry-level sales, inventory, or retail experience.
- Entry-level food and beverage experience.
Responsibilities
- Use scripted guides and spontaneous performances to bring exhibits to life and create memorable guest experiences.
- Support sales across the retail shop, bar and/or buffet, and ticketing.
- Support the Service Team in delivering ice cream and other treats quickly and efficiently.
- Provide positive, real-time guest support throughout the experience and in the retail shop.
- Assist with performances and experiences for special events and VIP guests, maintaining high standards of engagement and service.
- Partner with the Service and Show Teams to create a cohesive guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the museum.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by a manager.
