About The Position

ChampionX, now part of SLB, is hiring Shop Operators for the first shift in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Employees will initially be employed by ChampionX and transition to SLB as part of the planned integration. Shop Operators assemble and repair products used in oil and gas production, including pumps, motors, gas separators, and protectors. The role follows defined work instructions and safety procedures, uses hand and power tools, and contributes to a clean, safe, continuously improving team environment. Work is performed with limited supervision, usually within a team. The first shift generally starts at 5:00 a.m. Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on workload, and some weekend overtime may be required. This is a safety-sensitive position that may be subject to employer or customer drug testing. Pre-employment requirements include a drug screen and background check. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and/or overhead cranes.
Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as required.
Complete pre-employment drug screening and a background check.

Responsibilities

Assemble and repair products such as pumps, motors, gas separators, and protectors used in the oil and gas capturing process.
Follow safety rules and procedures and notify a supervisor of manufacturing-process issues that may affect safety.
Follow defined work instructions.
Use hand and power tools to assemble components in the manufacturing process.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Contribute to the department’s continuous improvement culture.
Work under limited supervision, usually within a team environment.
Perform other duties as required.
