About The Position

Shop Operators assemble and repair products such as pumps, motors, gas separators, and protectors used in the oil and gas capturing process. The role follows defined work instructions and safety procedures, uses hand and power tools to assemble components, and maintains a clean and safe work environment. Operators work under limited supervision, usually within a team, and contribute to continuous improvement. The position is based in a heated and air-conditioned manufacturing environment in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. First shift generally starts at 5:00 a.m. and may involve 8-, 10-, or 12-hour workdays depending on workload, with some weekend overtime as needed. This is a safety-sensitive role and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing. Pre-employment requirements include a drug screen and background check. Employment will begin with ChampionX and transition to SLB as part of the planned integration.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Read, write, and speak English fluently.
Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and/or overhead cranes.
Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as required.
Meet the physical demands of medium work, including exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Use required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes and safety glasses.
Have the visual and hearing acuity required for the role.
Complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the department’s continuous improvement culture.
Work under limited supervision, usually within a team.
Perform other duties as required.
