About The Position

The Shipping/Receiving employee loads and unloads finished goods and incoming materials, ensuring finished goods are properly packaged and meet customer requirements. The role moves materials and products to assigned locations, verifies inbound and outbound shipments, maintains accurate inventory through physical inventories and cycle counts, and stocks and issues materials. Employees are expected to follow safety procedures and participate in continuous-improvement activities.

Requirements

• Forklift experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, components, and finished goods to assigned locations.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight, verifying the quantity and quality of shipments.
• Ensure material movements follow current procedures for identification and suitability for storage or shipment.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform cycle counts of products, components, and supplies as needed.
• Stock and issue materials as needed.
• Work safely and efficiently, using all required personal protective and safety equipment and devices.
• Participate in and promote Continuous Improvement, 5S, and STW activities.
