About The Position

ORBIS is hiring a Shipping/Receiving employee to help keep operations running smoothly. The role involves moving raw materials, components, and finished goods; loading and unloading incoming materials and finished goods; and ensuring finished goods are properly packaged and meet customer requirements. The employee verifies shipment quantities and quality, follows procedures for identifying and storing or shipping materials, and supports inventory activities. The position emphasizes safe and efficient work, teamwork, and participation in continuous improvement, 5S, and STW activities. Requirements

• Forklift experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, components, and finished goods to their assigned locations.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight, verifying the quantity and quality of shipments.
• Ensure material movements follow current procedures for proper identification and suitability for storage or shipment.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform cycle counts of products, components, and supplies as needed.
• Stock and issue materials as needed.
• Work safely and efficiently using required personal protective and safety equipment and devices.
• Participate in and promote continuous improvement, 5S, and STW activities.
