About The Position

ISCO Industries is a family-owned and operated end-to-end piping solutions provider specializing in HDPE. The Shipping and Receiving associate supports the distribution network by verifying and maintaining accurate records of incoming, stocked, and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment. The role focuses on safe, accurate, and efficient handling of products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and improving shipping and warehouse processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Data entry experience.
Forklift experience, or ability to be trained and certified to operate a forklift.
Proficiency with Outlook email.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate shipping-related information by phone and email to customers, vendors, and coworkers.
Ability to organize and prioritize work orders to meet shipping requirements.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and act as a self-starter.

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse, shipping, and/or distribution experience.

Responsibilities

Safely, accurately, and efficiently load and unload products.
Verify products received from suppliers against packing lists.
Store products on the appropriate category shelves.
Determine the best packing method to protect products during transit.
Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to select shipping modes and freight carriers that deliver products with the shortest lead time and lowest transportation cost.
Use the ERP system (Epicor-Prelude) to maintain inventory accuracy and data integrity.
Conduct daily cycle counts and investigate root causes of problems.
Recommend improvements to processes and the work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
