About The Position
In this position, you will load and unload finished goods and incoming materials, ensuring finished goods are properly packaged and meet customer requirements. You will move materials to assigned locations, verify inbound and outbound shipments, maintain proper material identification and storage or shipment suitability, and support inventory activities. The role also involves following required safety procedures and participating in continuous improvement, 5S, and STW activities. The schedule is third shift, Sunday through Thursday. Requirements
- Forklift experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in shipping/receiving.
Responsibilities
- Move raw materials, components, and finished goods to their assigned locations.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight, verifying shipment quantity and quality.
- Ensure material movements follow current procedures for identification and suitability for storage or shipment.
- Participate in all physical inventories.
- Perform cycle counts of products, components, and supplies as needed.
- Stock and issue materials as needed.
- Work safely and efficiently using all required personal protective and safety equipment and devices.
- Participate in and promote continuous improvement, 5S, and STW activities.
