About The Position

Vera Bradley is hiring a seasonal Shipping Clerk to join its Distribution Center team for the 2026 holiday season. The role is responsible for accurately selecting, packaging, and shipping customer orders. The first shift runs from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay is $16.25 per hour, with an additional $0.50 per hour for hours worked after 3:00 PM.

This position works in a light manufacturing and warehouse environment. The successful candidate will pick and process orders, audit shipments, handle boxes and shipping materials, maintain orderly work areas, and assist other Operations areas as needed. High school graduation or equivalent and shipping experience with PTL are preferred. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from the finished goods area.
• Process ecommerce orders using the specified packing method for each order type.
• Audit orders for picking errors, overages, and weight errors.
• Lift boxes onto and off conveyor belts; stack boxes orderly on the loading dock and/or load them into trucks.
• Assemble shipping boxes using a carton erector, bottom taper, or manual methods.
• Maintain 5S in work areas.
• Assist in other Operations areas as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement and other projects.
