About The Position

Vera Bradley is hiring seasonal Shipping Clerks for its Distribution Center during the 2026 holiday season. The role involves accurately selecting, packaging, auditing, and shipping customer orders. The listed base rate is $16.25 per hour, with an additional $0.50 per hour for hours worked after 3:00 PM. The primary second-shift option is 3:00 PM–11:30 PM; mixed-shift options are also available.

The position is in a light manufacturing and warehouse environment, with frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting. This is a seasonal opportunity, and the employer states that it intends to fill the opening within 30 days of the original posting date.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from the finished goods area.
• Process ecommerce orders using the specified packing method for each order type.
• Audit orders for picking errors, overages, and weight errors.
• Lift boxes onto and off conveyor belts, stack boxes on the loading dock, and/or load boxes into trucks.
• Assemble shipping boxes using a carton erector, bottom taper, or manual methods.
• Maintain 5S in work areas.
• Assist in other Operations areas as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement and other projects.
