About The Position

The Shipping Clerk accurately selects, packages, and ships customer orders as part of the Vera Bradley Distribution Center team for the 2026 holiday season. This seasonal role pays $16.25 per hour, with a $0.50-per-hour shift differential for hours worked after 3:00 PM. The first-shift schedule is 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

The role works in a light manufacturing and warehouse environment and supports order fulfillment, shipping, and other Operations activities. The position requires frequent walking and standing, physical stamina, and the ability to lift boxes and use a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from the finished goods area.
• Process ecommerce orders using the specified packing method for each order type.
• Audit orders for picking errors, overages, and weight errors.
• Lift boxes onto and off conveyor belts; stack boxes in an orderly fashion on the loading dock and/or load them into trucks.
• Assemble shipping boxes using a carton erector, bottom taper, or manual methods.
• Maintain 5S in work areas.
• Assist in other Operations areas as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement and other projects.
