About The Position

Vera Bradley is hiring a seasonal Shipping Clerk to support its Distribution Center during the 2026 holiday season. The role involves accurately selecting, packing, auditing, and shipping customer orders, including ecommerce orders packed according to the specified method for each order type. The Shipping Clerk also supports other Operations areas and participates in continuous improvement projects.

This position is based in a light manufacturing and warehouse environment with constant walking and standing, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching, and regular lifting. The posting lists a second shift of 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with mixed shift options also available. Pay is $16.25 per hour, plus a $0.50-per-hour shift differential for hours worked after 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from the finished goods area.
• Process ecommerce orders using the specified packing method for each order type.
• Audit orders for picking errors, overages, and weight errors.
• Lift boxes onto and off conveyor belts; stack boxes in an orderly fashion on the loading dock and/or load them into trucks.
• Assemble shipping boxes using a carton erector, bottom taper, or manual methods.
• Maintain 5S in work areas.
• Assist in other Operations areas as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement and other projects.
