About The Position

The Shipping Associate prepares shipments by pulling products from inventory, verifying order accuracy and product condition, and packing products to prevent damage during transit. The role also includes inventory maintenance, quantity counts, and reporting discrepancies to management. The associate may perform duties at the Trademark facility when the Shipping Clerk is absent, including processing work orders in NetSuite and palletizing completed finished goods for transfer to the San Marino facility. The role may also assist Production with assembly and Packing with packaging and area cleanup.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pallet jack and forklift skills.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Ability to read and write legibly, count accurately, and perform simple math.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Computer knowledge, especially with FedEx and UPS Ship Managers.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the NetSuite ERP system.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders, ensuring the correct part number and quantity are pulled, packed, and shipped.
• Ensure orders are complete and correct.
• Pack orders to protect products during shipment and weigh final packages.
• Tag, mark, or label orders as required or requested.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Verify the correct number and type of products are loaded and shipped with carriers and freight forwarders.
• Conduct physical inventories as required, count quantities, and report discrepancies to management.
• Follow good warehouse and workplace safety practices and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Scan units into Excel spreadsheets and complete work orders in NetSuite.
• Stamp and date units.
• Palletize units, scan serial numbers, produce QR sheets, and wrap pallets with QR sheets.
• Perform duties at the Trademark facility in the absence of the Shipping Clerk.
• Assist Production with assembly and help Packing with packaging and cleanup when needed.
