About The Position

Franklin Water Treatment is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Shipping and Receiving team member to support timely, accurate shipment and receipt of materials. The role includes pulling and packaging materials, applying labels according to customer requirements, maintaining shipment-related records, and contributing to high-quality operations. Deliveries may be required at specific locations and are limited to less than 25% of the time.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED (preferred).
0–1 year of experience in a shipping department (preferred).
Forklift operation experience (preferred).
Basic understanding of computer software such as the Microsoft Office suite (preferred).

Responsibilities

Receive shipments, confirm their accuracy, and maintain receiving logs.
Prepare and review bills of lading for accuracy.
Route orders to meet company and customer requirements.
Track and expedite outbound shipments with carriers and schedule truck-line and other carrier pickups.
Perform deliveries as needed at applicable locations, limited to less than 25% of the time.
Maintain records, including invoices and vendor receipts, to verify shipper rates and resolve issues.
Process normal and special shipments.
Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
