About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk performs a wide variety of assigned warehouse duties at a premier truck dealership in Menomonie, Wisconsin. The role keeps records of shipments and product receipts, uses wireless tablets to update status and complete daily warehouse paperwork, and verifies truck parts being transported against the appropriate paperwork or bill of lading. Duties also include receiving heavy-duty truck parts; pulling, packing, loading, and unloading parts; and keeping stored merchandise labeled and in proper number sequence. Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Computer proficiency.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Dependable and results-oriented.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and stoop, and regularly lift or move up to 75 pounds.
• Able to work 8–12-hour days in a dealership environment with frequent exposure to weather elements.
• Communicate in spoken English well enough to be understood by others.

Nice To Haves

• Prior auto or truck parts experience is helpful.
• Forklift certification; certification will be provided on the job.

Responsibilities

• Manage the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies.
• Collaborate and communicate with service providers and others involved in product shipments.
• Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Promptly unload trucks and deliveries, then sort and stock materials.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
• Keep the warehouse clean by sweeping floors, emptying trash cans, stacking pallets, and storing cores properly.
• Receive heavy-duty truck parts.
• Pull, pack, load, and unload parts.
• Keep stored merchandise labeled and in proper number sequence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
