Shift Supervisor (Full And Part Time)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Shift Supervisors at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Shift Supervisor directs associates’ activities during a specific shift and oversees completion of assigned work expectations while ensuring policies and procedures are maintained. The position is scheduled for 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with weekends required. The pay range is $19.00 to $20.50 per hour. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry, including Environmental Services, Patient Transportation, Patient Observation, Facilities Management, Healthcare Technology Solutions, Ambulatory Services, and Sterile Processing. Requirements
- Prior customer service experience is required.
- Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who do not meet reasonable work-performance standards.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management.
- Ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Serve as the contact person for employees with complaints or time-off requests.
- Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and seek advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
