About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Shift Supervisors at Penn Highlands in Du Bois, Pennsylvania. The Shift Supervisor directs associates’ activities during an assigned shift and ensures job expectations are completed in accordance with policies and procedures. The role includes training associates, creating schedules, evaluating performance, preparing reports, and addressing employee concerns. Days and hours may vary, with rotating weekends. Training is available.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct associates’ activities during an assigned shift and ensure assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policies and procedures.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate employee performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who do not meet reasonable work standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations.
• Serve as a contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
