About The Position
The Shift Supervisor works in Chick-fil-A at DTW Airport, in a retail and dining environment operated by Paradies Lagardère. The role helps create first-class experiences for airport travelers by greeting guests, taking and processing food and drink orders, handling payments, and sharing knowledgeable recommendations about the menu. Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and acknowledge guests and take their drink and food orders within 30 seconds of entering the concept.
- Accurately total, process, and collect payments, including using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, process credit and debit card payments, and make change in compliance with company cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
- Stay knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the restaurant’s menu and products.
- Recommend menu items to guests based on their needs, especially when asked about potential food allergens.
- Help create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public.
