About The Position
Paradies Lagardère is hiring a Shift Supervisor for its Chick-fil-A location at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). The role is in an airport dining environment and involves creating a welcoming, first-class experience for travelers while maintaining high safety and health standards. The position description includes guest service and payment-handling duties, with emphasis on prompt order-taking, menu knowledge, and following cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and acknowledge guests and take their drink and food orders within 30 seconds of entering the restaurant.
- Accurately total orders, process payments, and collect payment from guests, including through the point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash and process credit and debit card payments, make change, and comply with company Cash Handling and Loss Prevention Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of the restaurant’s menu and products and make recommendations suited to guests’ needs, including answering questions about potential food allergens.
- Help uphold high safety and health standards to maintain a comfortable environment customers can trust.
- Create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public.
