About The Position

Chick-fil-A is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for its Detroit Metro Airport MacNamara Terminal location. The role leads restaurant team members and oversees daily operations while maintaining Chick-fil-A’s standards for quality, service, and hospitality. The manager trains and develops employees, creates a welcoming guest experience, and supports sales growth and profitability through cost control, planning, and operational efficiency. The schedule is determined by business needs, and the position requires availability for various shifts in a year-round, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience.
• Obtain and maintain a current ServSafe Food Manager’s Certification within six months of hire or promotion.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and perform essential duties including standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing a ladder, and walking long distances.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in varying temperatures.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, Microsoft Office, and mathematics.
• Ability to work various shifts in a year-round, team-oriented environment; the schedule is determined by business needs.

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable; a combination of practical experience and education may be considered as an alternative.
