About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will help create a warm and welcoming coffeehouse where coffee sparks connection and each shift can brighten someone’s day. You will lead with craft and heart, support a welcoming environment for the community, and help prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to Starbucks standards. Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with and fulfillment of customer requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Direct and delegate the work of other employees and coordinate tasks among employees.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations.
Meet store operating standards for beverage and food quality, cash handling, safety, and security.
Contribute to a welcoming coffeehouse environment and support the customer experience.
