About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a warm, welcoming space for the community. You will help create meaningful customer moments and support the preparation of beverages and food to Starbucks standards, including customized customer orders. The role includes directing and coordinating the work of other employees and meeting store operating standards for product quality, cash handling, safety, and security.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with and fulfillment of customer requests.
• At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
• Ability to direct the work of others.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of the retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to build relationships.
• Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and direct the work of other employees.

• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations.
• Meet store operating policies and standards for quality beverages and food, cash handling, and store safety and security.
• Provide customer service and fulfill customer requests.
