About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community. You will prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, and help ensure store operating policies and standards are met. The position requires directing and coordinating the work of other employees and providing a welcoming customer experience.

Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredient substitutions.
Direct the work of other employees and delegate or coordinate tasks.
Meet store operating policies and standards for quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Interact with customers and fulfill their requests.
