About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you lead with craft and heart to help make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community. Each shift is an opportunity to create meaningful moments and brighten customers’ days. The role includes preparing and coaching the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customer specifications, and directing and coordinating the work of other employees.

Requirements

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Have at least six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with and fulfillment of customer requests.
Have at least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized to customer requests.
Direct the work of other employees.
Delegate tasks and/or coordinate the tasks of two or more employees.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including beverage and food quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Provide customer service by interacting with customers and fulfilling their requests.
