About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to help make the coffeehouse a warm, welcoming space for the community. You will help create meaningful customer connections, prepare and coach the preparation of beverages and food to standard recipes or customized customer requests, and support store operations and standards. Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with and fulfillment of customer requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating tasks for two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Direct the work of other employees and delegate or coordinate tasks.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized customer requests, including recipe changes.
Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Provide customer service by interacting with customers and fulfilling their requests.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
