About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to help create a warm, welcoming coffeehouse where every cup of coffee sparks connection and every shift can brighten someone’s day. You will support the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized to customer requests, while helping the team meet store operating policies and standards. Requirements

• At least six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
• At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
• Availability to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to direct the work of others.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of the retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to build relationships.
• Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the work of other employees, including delegating tasks.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customize them to customer requests, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
• Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
• Provide customer service by interacting with customers and fulfilling their requests.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
