About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead with craft and heart to help create a warm, welcoming coffeehouse where coffee fosters connection and each shift can brighten customers’ days. The role involves supporting the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customer specifications, coordinating and directing other employees’ work, and meeting store operating standards. Requirements

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality beverage and food preparation, cash handling, and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Have at least six months of experience in a role requiring constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
Have at least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities
